Dr. Bora Yücel, After completing his primary and secondary education in Zile district of Tokat province, Op.Dr. Bora Yücel completed his medical education at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine in 2002.
Following his medical school education, he fulfilled his compulsory service in Tekirdağ Altınova Health Center within the scope of State Service obligation. Then, he completed his military service as a lieutenant in the Air Force Command Kocaeli Körfez Air Radar Base. He worked at the Turkish Red Crescent Blood Services Kayseri Regional Directorate for a while.
He completed his specialization education in Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgery since 2008, with the dissertation titled "Rescuing the Stasis Zone in Burns with the use of Pentoxifylline-experimental study in rats". This thesis he carried out was accepted as a presentation to the 2014 scientific congress of the World Burn Association held in Sydney, ISBI 2014, and was subsequently published in the "Journal of Burn Care & Research", one of the most prestigious journals in the field of burns. He fulfilled his compulsory service at Sivas Numune Hospital within the scope of his post-specialization State Service obligation.
After working at Elmalı and Kepez State Hospitals in Antalya, he left the Ministry of Health and has been working in his own clinic in Antalya since 2019 in order to provide a better quality service to his patients. He performs his surgeries in contracted private hospitals in Antalya.
